Bioanalytical Scientist – Pharmidex

Pharmidex is pleased to offer the opportunity to join our Bioanalytical team.

We welcome applications from scientists, ideally with at least two years of relevant experience, who are keen to further their career in bioanalysis. This role is a full-time, on-site position.

Opportunities exist to support both regulatory and non-regulatory studies, including collaborative research projects funded by grants. Dependent upon experience, a successful candidate may also manage client interactions, assisting with study design and data interpretation as required.

Basic attributes required:

• Degree in Chemistry, or with Chemistry as a major component.
• At least two years of experience working in a bioanalytical laboratory with responsibility for LC-MS method development and validation.
• A good working knowledge of sample preparation techniques, liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
• Hands-on experience with large molecule and peptide analysis, including method development and validation.
• Experience in oligonucleotide bioanalysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional attributes for more senior positions:

• Advanced LC-MS method development and troubleshooting skills.
• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge and practical experience of GLP and/or GCP.
• Experience acting as Study Director / Principal Investigator for bioanalytical studies.
• A solid understanding of ADMET studies in drug discovery and development.
• Experience with biotherapeutics would be beneficial.
