New Insights from Pharmidex: Tumour Microdialysis in Glioblastoma

We’re excited to share our latest work on tumour microdialysis, a powerful technique for measuring unbound, pharmacologically active drug concentrations directly within brain tumours like glioblastoma. Unlike systemic plasma levels, microdialysis provides a true picture of drug penetration into the tumour helping to uncover heterogeneous distribution and the impact of the blood-tumour barrier. Our approach involves precise stereotaxic surgery, tumour validation, and sampling from both tumour and healthy brain tissue enabling direct, comparative pharmacokinetic analysis. ๐Ÿ“Š The results?
